SIX WAYS A TOTAL CAN CHANGE

Start with a question, not a form.

These are fixed, synthetic comparisons, not accounts or customer stories. Nothing here estimates your own bill.

PROVENANCE, NOT AUTHORITY

The rules are invented too.

Authored by Bindass Bol for this demonstration on . Rule set BB-DEMO-1. No electricity provider, regulator or real tariff is represented.

All numbers are synthetic. These rules omit real-world slabs, taxes, duties, subsidies, arrears, meter multipliers, fuel adjustments and category-specific requirements.

BB-DEMO-1 / BASE

Flat energy charge of Rs 5.00 per kWh, plus Rs 2.00 per billed day.

BB-DEMO-1 / ENERGY

Invented energy-rate variant: Rs 6.00 per kWh, plus Rs 2.00 per billed day.

BB-DEMO-1 / FIXED

Invented fixed-charge variant: Rs 5.00 per kWh, plus Rs 3.00 per billed day.

BB-DEMO-1 / CREDIT

Subtract only the explicit credit supplied in an example. It is not a real subsidy, entitlement or adjustment policy.

BB-DEMO-1 / GAP

Stated total minus explained charges is an unexplained amount, not a new charge and not proof that the total is incorrect.

A clearer question. Not a verdict.

Even a perfectly matching calculation cannot establish whether a meter reading or tariff is correct. Real bills require the applicable official rules and qualified review. This demo provides neither.
